New Resource: Key Data Systems Item Bank

The Key Data Systems item bank is now available in Schoolnet. The item bank consists of over 22,000 items for Math and Literacy from kindergarten to high school, with more uploaded every month. It can be used to develop quick formative or summative classroom assessments or grade level/course common assessments.

Creating Classroom Assessments
Create a test manually
Create a test from scratch with items you’ve created. Information on creating a multiple choice item can be found here.

Create an Answer Key Only test
Answer key only tests can be used for entering student data from tests not in Schoolnet.

Create a test using items from the Key Data Systems Item Bank
Search for KDS items and create an assessment using them.

Co-Author a test
Collaborate in the creation of a test or share a test you’ve created with another user.

After a test has been created, schedule the assessment for administration and specify test settings.
